This Minervois from Famille Fabre is a bold and expressive wine that showcases the region's vibrant character. With its deep garnet hue and enticing aromas of red fruits (cherry, raspberry) and black olives, this wine is a sensory delight, made with two of the great grapes of the Mediterranean, Syrah (80%) and Grenache.
On the palate, the intensity of the fruit flavours shines through, with a harmonious blend of dark cherries and raspberries. The tannins are well-structured, providing a firm backbone that balances the fruit. The finish is long and spicy (with smoky hints of the garrigue), leaving a lasting impression. Very Highly Recommended.

It is unusual to see the words Demi-Muid on the label. Demi-Muid is a French term for 600-litre capacity oak barrels, typically used in the Rhône Valley.
