Rare at The Blue Haven is set to welcome New Zealand’s award-winning winemaker Jules Taylor for an exclusive wine and food pairing experience on 29th

August at 7 pm. 

Jules Taylor will travel to Ireland from New Zealand especially to curate a wine pairing experience to complement the 5-course tasting menu created by Executive Chef at Rare at Blue Haven, Meeran Manzoor. Guests on the evening can expect specially selected unique wines from Marlborough’s Southern Valleys which perfectly complement Head Chef Meeran Manzoor’s cooking style where the focus is on French techniques influenced by Chef Meeran’s  Tamil Nadu heritage, using the very best ingredients from local producers and artisan suppliers.

A coup for the much-loved Kinsale eatery, Jules is known in New Zealand as the ‘Queen of Sauvignon Blanc’ and was recently awarded New Zealand’s Winemaker of the Year by Gourmet Traveller Wine. She is a passionate advocate for the Marlborough region which produces some of the region’s most loved and successful wines. Jules created a bespoke Blue Haven Sauvignon Blanc for the Blue Haven collection exclusively.
