The Limerick Strand Hotel has just unveiled their newly refurbished Shannon Suite after an impressive €200K refresh.

Millimetre Design, were tasked with creating a bespoke new look, where every detail is tailored to perfection. Inspiration for the interior design was drawn from the River Shannon, which breathes life into Limerick city and given the

hotels Idyllic location on its impressive banks, with the city’s most iconic landmarks within walking distance, hugely influenced the new look. The pattern used in the carpet design mimic the rippling waters of the River and the rich colour palette in the carpet creates a vibrant base, with tonal textured wallcoverings creating a calming ambiance for the room. The addition of new luxury feature chandeliers reflect light within this elegant ballroom.

Suited for conferences, corporate events, gala dinners and weddings the Shannon Suite offers a versatile venue for the most memorable occasions. The largest of the hotels’ conference suites, it boasts high ceilings, natural daylight and a recently upgraded lighting system, can catering for up to 600 delegates or 500 people for gala dinners. The room can be divided into two suites to create more intimate meeting rooms, as well as a large pre-function space. The venue is a very popular choice for national and regional events, given its prime location at the Gateway City to the Wild Atlantic Way and superb access to national motorway, air and rail links. The fully covered and heated Secret Garden is an ideal breakout/networking space. Direct access from hotel loading bay to Shannon Suite is ideal for deliveries and moving large items – even a car can be driven directly into the conference space making it ideal for the automobile industry launch events.

The hotel also offers an unforgettable wedding experience and really knows how to create beautiful, joyous, memorable moments, regardless of numbers.
